Beautiful Chandeliers made from Recycled Bike Parts

Turning unused/unwanted items into something spectacular is always amazing. We have featured many creative recycle and upcycle work, and here is another great example of recycle art – Ballroom Luminoso. Created by Artists Joe O’Connell and Blessing Hancock, this series of six spectacular chandeliers are transformed from old bike parts and hung in the underpass of Theo/Malone and IH-35 San Antonio, Texas. ‘Ballroom Luminoso’ chandeliers contain a custom-made LED light installation, which project colorful silhouettes of sprockets and other pieces onto the drab cement underpass and create a magnificent shadow theater. Such a wonderful public art installation!

Inspiring Interior Design made by Susanna Cots

Barcelona interior designer Susanna Cots completed this contemporary house interior located in Llavaneres, Spain. With a focus on design, functionality, landscape and warmth, the entire place is gorgeous and peaceful. The design approach is said to be inspired by the tranquility of the neighboring sea: “White predominates and gives to the space a personality that attracts order, and is complemented by color. The design stretches out to the sea from every part of the house, to allow Nature in. ”

Really love the approach designer used to separate kitchen, dinning room and living room. The stairs and see-through fireplace subtly divide those sections with bonus design touch. There are many other smart design details like the hidden shelf outside the bathroom and the low loft bed design for the kid’s room. Take a look and hope you get some inspiration as well.
